RARE & UNIQUE TIBETAN BUDDHIST CONCH SHELL MALA 108+3 8MM BEADS HAND ETCHED W/ OM MANTRA ELABORATE COUNTER/MARKER, GURU, TUBE & TASSEL beautiful 8mm 108+3 bead conch shell mala the conch shell is naturally brown & the complete om mani mantra appears on each bead in Tibetan symbols there are 3 silver metal counter markers: 2 double dorje beads & 1 endless knot bead stunning guru: huge (16mm?) orange guru with 3 gold edged medallions - 2 show a gold tone OM symbol on a turquoise background & the top one is red inlaid in 2 gold circles tube is a silver tone Buddha head bead non-traditional tassel uses the 2 actual cord ends & strung on each is a carnelian (?) bead with etched Om mantra in Tibetan, highlighted with gold I am guessing this is imported from India strung with some so sliding the beads is easy measures 38 1/2" from guru bead to guru bead Please be assured that valuable animals would never be killed to reap bone for beads - they are just too valuable!!
